It's was either 2000 or 2001 when this game came out.
It was a WW2 RTS game, but what made this 1 a wee bit different was the fact it ventured away from the tried and tested C%26amp;C template.
You started a mission with a designated number of infantry and armour, and that was all you had.
When your guys bought it, it was game over.
None of this gathering resources stuff...it was a more realistic, and novel approach to RTS gaming.
If anyone out there has any idea as to what the game is, I'd be grateful if you could tell me what the game was called.
I'm looking for a WW2 RTS strategy game?
It was either one of these:
Commandos 3 Destination Berlin
Commandos II: Men of Courage
Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines
Commandos: Beyond The Call Of Duty
Or these
Codename: Panzers Phase One
Blitzkrieg
Reply:Was it one of Microsoft's Close Combat series? I think there were 4 or 5 in all stretching back to about 1997.
They were pretty good and sound like the game you mention (no resource gathering, limited troops).
