Does anyone know about internet billing systems that Log you off the internet and will not delete on the PC?

One of my sons have been surfing the net to look at ladies!! They acciedently pressed OK for the terms and conditions, now we are plagued with a billing system asking for money, after a lot of hunting I deleted this file from the C/drive/templates, put in recycle bin, it just keeps jumping back and sticks on my screen, will not let me into the PC or view the internet, If I cannot put this problem straight and go buy a laptop, will I get the same problem if I am using the same modem, can this bill find a way of jumping into my laptop, and no my boys are not ever going to use it. Please help,as this bill is threating me to have bad credit, but the boys never gave them a password or any credit or address details.

Does anyone know about internet billing systems that Log you off the internet and will not delete on the PC?
Spyware, your computer has spyware on it I personly recommend you getting a DECENT anti-spyware software for your computer and doing a total computer scan, (by decent I mean NOT mcafee, norton or AVG)

Hope this helps.
Reply:firat it is not a bill it is a virus that has hijacked your homepage and can be hard to get rid of.I don't know what anti-virus you are using but it has gotten by it as it did not do its job in stopping this attack.

1) on your desktop click on your anti-virus and run a scan hopefully you will find it now that it is settled in to the system.

if nothing comes up in the scan:

2) if you know the name of the virus(you said you found the file and recycled it) go to start button click on it choose run.

in the box type in "regedit" (without the quotes) when the new box comes up go to the edit tab and at the bottom of your choices is a FIND choose it and a small box will appear type in the name of the virus and it will find it in the registry once found delete it ONLY(right box) not the registry entry(left box).

WARNING: if you are not sure don't try this.....

3) if all this fails try doing a system restore to a time when the virus was not present.

if none of this works the only thing left to do is to reformat the computer and reload the operating system.
Reply:when you are done cleaning up,download buddy browser for your kid/s here

most nasties are set to reside in your restore system. clean them out and forget to close S.R. BEFORE you start clean up and they return when you reboot.

do this while OFFLINE!

check off and while there,click--hold--drag slider to 5% and recover 10% hard drive memory

control panel--internet options--general

delete:

cookies--history [ and set days to keep to 0 ]--delete temp internet files

privacy tab:

advanced--override--allow session,allow 1st party--BLOCK 3rd party [ spyware/tracking ] cookies

Recycle Bin

click on recycle bin and empty it

Disk Clean:

select view--select all--press delete key on keyboard

now--IF you have any protective programs [ anti-virus--anti-spyware ] installed,NOW is the time to run those.

once you are clean, return to sytem restore and turn it back on [ reverse above instructions ].

choose to create a new restore point, name it and you're done!

Vista:

vista is a bit different, yet almost the same.

getting to internet options is the same,so look at the instructions for what to do with XP above
