In C++ Express, how do can I get it to use text files?

I know there must be a template or something small that I can install.

In C++ Express, how do can I get it to use text files?
If you need the file to simply be in your solution explorer, drag and drop the .txt file into your solution folder outside of Visual Studio. Open up your solution folder in explorer and drag in the txt file. The next time you open your solution, it should be present in your solution explorer as a "resource" file, just like if you did the same with a picture.
