DNA replication is semiconservative because the ___ strand will become half of the__molecule?

a) RNA, DNA

b) template, finished

c) DNA, mRNA

d) codon, anticodon

DNA replication is semiconservative because the ___ strand will become half of the__molecule?
Keyan is wrong, I'm afraid. It's (b).

The template DNA is split into its two individual strands with one being used on each of the resultant DNA molecules. The second strand in either case is synthesed using C-G A-T opposing rules to generate it.
Reply:I think it might be c) but i dont really fully understand what they mean by the question.......................

DNA replicates itself and mRNA joins it.....

Therefore DNA is halved when it replicates and mRNA joins it.

there are some good youtube videos on DNA that I think really helped as I recently had a test on DNA and genetics.

(didnt do the greatest however ) :(
Reply:i am gonna say A

i left you a link, hope that helps
